Bunker/Stronghold painted

This sunday I have finished painting my latest
project called: Bunker/Stronghold. The bunker
was originally made with no roof and mesh but
I altered the design on the way. I think the look
of the building also improved with some
"lick of the paint" to quote my friend Joe working
with the blog http://zabadakszombieworld.blogspot.se/

:). I added some brownish paint to give a feeling of
rust and decay. The camo-net also add a different
touch to the scenery. Inside I followed my friend
Jonas(http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.se/) advise to mount a ladder directly to the wall instead of using a portable. The bunker will be used in games in the scale of 28mm and primarily SoTR and WH40k but also other modern scenarios.
At the end of the article I have published two pictures

that show the model before getting the wash of paint.

  1. The bunker had turned out much better than I thought it would, the little touches are what puts it into the excellent category -some rusting, internal detailing (not overdone), the fixed ladder, wthe barbed wire - it all comes together really well.
It'll be a great focal point for a game and I'm betting you can't wait to get it on the table .

  6. that's awesome, and it's even more impressive when you compare the finished work with the first step. I guess you're very proud of the final result :)

  7. Thankyou "Fed"! :) I like the result but I am not satisfied because I think it is too much architectural-details. What I mean is that maybe the roof is too much!? To show the progress of a project is always nice and is often forgotten among other bloggers. They usually present only the finished result.
