Basing on Norman riders

Now I have completed the basing of three
norman riders out of nine.I like the grass
and I think they look both wild and threat-
ening this way. I have also put on some

sand and PVA. I gathered both my foot-
soldiers and the updated archers for some

grouppictures. I hope that you find them
inspirational.

  4. Neat.

But... You should use flock on more places on the bases. Dont be afraid to use real grass, dryed up leafs, sticks and so.

I like to glue sand on my bases and later use watered down paint to paint it.

  6. That's an interesting effect that gives them the impression of charging through crops or tall grass - wonderfully dynamic. It might be a bit much on the infantry perhaps?

    1. Thankyou very much Michael. I will probably trim the grass on the infantry because it looks a little bit too much.

  8. Cool! I would add some flock and tufts to the bases to give undergrowth as well as the tall grass. It also hides the square profile of the integral base.
I like how they fit into the terrain in the mass pictures.
