Finished craters

Here are pictures to show the making of
bomb-craters out of cake-moulds(aluminium).
I have also used polystyrene, pva (4 layers),
sand and finally paint.
Easy, cheap and in my opinion good looking.

Glass display cabinet V2

When I was working up north in the woods my former boss
wanted to place a lot of prototypes in the garbage to
free space in the display-room.
I thought it was a waste to not reuse this nice glass-
display-cabinet and my boss was very pleased that the
cabinet was removed.
After placing this cabinet in my "man-cave" I soon
discovered that it wasn´t optimised to display figures
and models and that is the reason I have now fitted it
with additional wall-shelves.
The thickness of the wood is 9.5mm and the tracks in
the wall is 10mm so it fits very good together.
I think that this is really nice and I now enjoy my
figures even more. :)

Third mutant-conversion

When I bought some knights on horse (bretonnians) from 
my friend Alexander in october he also sent me some assorted 
bits along with the package. I love assorted bits
and it gives me a lot of new ideas and inspiration.
This time it resulted in a third mean mutant with a heavy bolter 
and a spike-club for apocalyptic skirmishes in Necromunda/Ash wastes.
I think the body and the arm with the club is probably a orc or troll and
the head is from a ogre from WHFB. The arm with a heavy bolter is from 
a WH40k-spacemarine(chaos) and the metal-mask from a orc-model.
I like the look on this one and I will make a pile of empty bullet-shells
on the base after sanding with pva.
Can´t wait until I have painted this mean mutant and tested him on the
gaming-table. :)

Star wars - The dark side

This is the last report about my collection of Star wars
figures. The miniatures that will represent the Empire or
the "dark side" looks very nice. The only figure that must
be corrected is the stormtrooper-squadleader that has a
elevation(bending forward) that is not natural.
The rest of the figures are spot on and I get a lot of in-
spiration just looking at the now.
The commander, the driver of the speeder-bike and radio-
operators(stormtroopers) are favourites from this range.

Star wars - rebelscum

This is the third report out of four to cover my latest find
in Star-wars-figures. These rebels are great and has a lot
of character and in my opinon is spot on to cover the Star-
wars feeling. Xenomorphs and a lot of vivid colours. :)
My favourite is the primitive-looking character with a stick
and the green-guards from the castle of Jabba the hut.
I also think that Chewbacca is a very nice mini.

Star wars-figures with sabers

This is the second report about my collection
of small Star wars-figures.
These figures are in my opinion very nicely
painted with a lot of character for gaming.
My favourites are Han Solo, Dart Maul and
of course the two figures in red,black and
yellow outfits. Next step will be to read more
about which fraction each are belonging to 
and some more facts before starting to play
skirmish-games or RPG.

Star wars minis-ready for gaming

Last week I bought another find on a second hand-market.
The the total number of figures on sale were 50 for
only 15 Euros.The figures are prepainted and in the
28mm scale and ready for gaming.
The manufacturer is mainly Wizkids (round bases). 
I bought some figures in 2014 but they were to few to
start gaming but now I only need some speceships and
scenery to start this dream of mine.
I have not decided yet if I will play RPG or skirmish.
On the two last pictures (bought 2018) I have assembled
both my earlier buy and my new find. Next report will 
cover close up pictures of both the Empire-figures and
the rebels.
