I have bougth two more tanks to my Imperial guard
and this will be a very nice punch when playing.
Eventhough this fact they are not ready yet.
I got an advice from my friend Christian to make
the weapon-system magnetized to make the tanks
versatile and open up a variety of options.
I will not replace the frontal lasergun beside the
driver but both the turret and the sponsons(sidearms)
will be updated. In this moment I have two tanks
75% ready for the making and one 50%.
Not portrayed on the pictures I will also scratchbuild
three gatling-guns and another tank-hunter-cannons
for the turret.
On the pictures I also show my latest buy on bits and
some of these will be used on the tanks.
Last but not least I will use two heads to make two
not so nice-looking cyber-combat robots for the
Necromunda/ash-wastes.I will convert two robots
from the Warhammer 40K Tau-range for this.
Surfing on the internet I came across these nice figures.
These are Necromunda - Goliath gang-members and
from an old batch. I only paid 6 Euros for all the figures
and I thing it is a bargain.
Eventhough the arms are modular I will convert and
make these muscle-boys more permanent using some
of these bits but also from my other storage.
One bits I have already found and it is borrowed from
a space marine. This old grenade-launcher will be a
real menace to all vehicles in the wastlands and it looks
very "bad-ass" to me. :)
From this old batch I like the revolvers and the shotguns
very much but all details are nicely manufactured.
I will primarily use these figures to Necromunda/Ash wastes
but also to my own game Law and order.
Last week (birthday-week) a very nice addition arrived.
It was a order with bits mainly for my post-apocalyptic
project. The heads will be used for my bikers and to give
a more female touch.
The weapons and other goodies will be used to upgrade
and convert my catachan jungle fighters almost to a
unrecognisable result.
I also published some pictures showing my first buy
of bits to this project. Some of these plastics will be
fitted onto vehicles. Very inspirational indeed and I
have not even started building.
In my project Necromunda-Ash wastes I intend
to create a post-apocalyptic feeling and one
step is to use the right bits for the miniatures.
My latest buy of miniatures, WH40k catachan
jungle fighters, will be updated with new
weapons and different heads to get that gritty
and worn down look.
To achieve this I looked on the internet for
new bits to use and I found a good retailer that
sold second-hand bits both for WH40k and
WHFB / AOS.
I must say that the prices are quite resonable and
the service is very good.
I bought both weapons to the miniature figures
and also to be mounted on the vehicles.

I also bought a very nice figure to be used as
a commissar to my Imperial guard-force in
the game of WH40k. Nice finds indeed. :)
After my son has been born I have been
really busy but eventhough this fact I have
been managed some time for my hobby.
My third child has also gained some weight
(500 grams on two weeks).
I have had some plans to fill my ranks with
figures to play Necromunda - ash wastes and
focus right now has been more motor-bikes
and muscle-men.
On second hand I found a untouched box with
WH 40k-catachan jungle fighters and also
three space-marine-bikes.
The jungle-fighters are great to convert and I will
upgrade these figures with different heads and
more heavy-weapons.
The goal is to make these jungle fighters look more
like criminals with punk-haircuts.
Finally I have completed my collection with
motor-bikes and I now have 10 traditional bikes
with riders equipped with handguns and machine-
guns and four wh40k-bikes and another three wh40k-
bikes with sidecars and heavy-weapons.
This week I also bought some more bits with "tasty"
guns that will be incorporated in the project above
and a report on this buy will soon be published here.
When I bought some knights on horse (bretonnians) from
my friend Alexander in october he also sent me some assorted
bits along with the package. I love assorted bits
and it gives me a lot of new ideas and inspiration.
This time it resulted in a third mean mutant with a heavy bolter
and a spike-club for apocalyptic skirmishes in Necromunda/Ash wastes.
I think the body and the arm with the club is probably a orc or troll and
the head is from a ogre from WHFB. The arm with a heavy bolter is from
a WH40k-spacemarine(chaos) and the metal-mask from a orc-model.
I like the look on this one and I will make a pile of empty bullet-shells
on the base after sanding with pva.
Can´t wait until I have painted this mean mutant and tested him on the
gaming-table. :)
