A very nice package

A couple of weeks ago a very nice package arrived to

my doorstep in the village were I live.

I talked to my friend Mikael that one of my 3d-printed

finnish Stugs hade broken its cannon-barrel due to bad

handling by the postal-office and wanted to help

sending me two new stug-barrels but he also added

some "extras". The package was filled with goodies. :)

I opened and found a company of Bretonnians knights

to WHFB. Some needs some fixing but no big thing.

I also found furniture to be used together with RPG

and traditional miniature-gaming and scenery.

All the finds above will be painted before gaming!

Last but not least some extra tuft for the basing.

In my next report I will also write about to sets of WW2-

15mm-figures that Mikael also sent me.

I finish this report with a big thankyou very much Mikael!

To be continued!

Bloodreavers en masse

Last week I bought some more figures both
for fantasy but also to use in Necromunda.
These muscle-men are bloodreavers from
Games workshop. For only 10 Euros a got
18 battleready figures.
I think these figures looks real tough and
mean and will fit in any bad-land-scenario.
They come from a easy-to-build-range and
this is not so good when it comes to make
any kind of conversion but I manage.
Next step will be to put on some paint.

Archers and musicians

Early january I bought some really nice miniatures
on second hand. Primarily archers for medieval
games. The elven archers will be used as elite-
archers with camo-painted cloaks. I really like
these elven-archers and in a woodland-scenery
they will come alive real good.
All the archers will be fitted with a thin metal-
wire for the right look.I have successfully
used a very thin metal-wire and this looks very
good and is not so hard to do.
Next up is two musicians that I have never seen
before but I think they are from the eighties and
from the brand Ral Partha. These two will be used
as special characters in my medieval games called
Hugg and slag (cut and blow).

Vampire counts-my collection

During the year 2018 I have upgraded and
completed my collection of Warhammer
Vampire count-figures. On the pictures
you can see my infantry, dire wolves,
ghosts, batswarms and special characters.
The only thing that is missing is 4 crypt-
horror-figures that is not assembled.
Together with my cavalry(read earlier report)
I think that this force is quite powerful and
a sight for the eye. Still there are some
paintjob and and basing left to do but
I am very pleased so far.

More skeleton-cavalry

Just before Christmas I answered a seller that
wanted to sell 3 quadrigas,7 horses and 6 riders.
All were skeletons and to be used as Tomb kings.
For only 14 Euros I think this will be a nice
addition and complement my old collection.
I play Vampire-counts in WHFB and they will
look real good when painted.
The quadrigas will be mobile plattforms for
my VC-leaders and special-characters.
Very nice finds indeed.

Bretonnian mounted knights

Last week I made a small offer on a add selling
second hand miniatures and I won.
I offered 5 Euros(pp not included) and I think
it was a real bargain because of the excellent
paintjob and extra bits that came along with the
package. The extra bits will be used to mount
more knights on the horses without riders that I
bought earlier this year.Read the report on the
link below:

http://huggochslag.blogspot.com/2018/06/back-on-track-again.html

All of the figures and the bits are from GW and
in the 28mm scale. I will primarily use these figures after
updating the bases and fixed som minor issues i WHFB and
my own medieval game Huggochslag(cut-and-blow).
The two extra bow-men will be repainted to fit in using
darker colours to look more medieval eventhough I like the
original paintjob a lot.Great bargains indeed.
