Pirates - special characters

During my vacation I got an offer to exchange some
of my 15mm-miniatures(medieval) for these plastic-
figures that I don´t know how is the manufacturer.
I think they all look very good and will be played
as special-characters when playing pirates-skirmish.
I will base them all with sand to get the right look
and also give the raw plastic some lick of paint.

Soviet-armoured infantry and small naval vessels

My house and garden is now undertaking a 
renovation and in august it must be finished 
because our family is growing once again. :) 
Due to this fact I hav little or little than less 
time for my hobby and I am missing this a lot. 
Eventhough it will be winter and until then I 
buy things to be prepared. First up is my latest 
second hand-buy of armoured soviet infantry 
from the conflict 47-range that I will use for Sotr. 
I will convert these charming figures with light 
rocket-launchers to be able to deal with armoured 
vehicles. I am also having thoughts of fit one of 
these with a MG but have not decided yet. I like 
these figures a lot and the hammer and sickle is 
a nice detail indeed. :)
My force of soviets will be including mechas, 
infantry, armoured cars and now armoured infantry.
Next is a find that I made in the local toy-store. 
Four small sailing-boats in various sizes will be a 
very nice addition to my groving naval-force when 
playing pirate-games.
I bought two packages for only 4 Euros each. 
I will give these models a helping hand to make 
them more realistic and also fit some of these with 
small naval-cannons. To be able to have small and 
fast naval vessels will indeed add some more 
excitement to the game and these will also be very 
useful when making landing when playing games
at a archipelago-gaming-table. I also publish the 
rest of my collection and now I have ships in many 
sizes and this was one of the main goal with this
project.
"Perk yer ears boys, we are going to the sea"! :)

More cannons against the pirates

Yeasterday a small and very nice package arrived.
It contained two more cannons from the GW Empire-
range and I think these will do the job very good 
as a part of my growing force that will battle against
the pirates both on land and sea.
I also bought some bits to make my medieval horses
complete with riders. Very nice finds indeed and
each cannon only cost med 6 Euros each.

Wednesday-package of sweets

Yesterday I received a very nice surprise in my mailbox.
Last week I bought some Bretonnian riders and the very same
seller also sent me some more bits for free. :)
We have had some contact about the hobby on messenger and
out of the blue Mr Kristoffer O sent me this gift.
I must send out a big THANKYOU to my friend on the West coast
and also stress that this community within tabletop/miniature-
wargame are a gathering of nice people indeed.
I will continue this tradition and on sunday I will give
some of these figures together with a big package of vehicles and
infantry to a fellow gamer.
When I started playing games and collecting in 2013 I was not
a happy person after a separation but the community gave me a 
lot of love and soon I was back on track again.
The package was containing a lot of goodies and primarily I 
will use the most of the bits in Necromunda but also to my
headhuters-tribe in my own game Las Piratas.
The priest-figure looks a little bit alien-like and will be 
converted with a new human head to be used like an evil priest.
A very good wednesday indeed 

Bits to pirate-game and medieval warfare

Last weekend me and my family went to a big
market nearby to buy some finds to our home.
My wife found some nice pots and plates and
I found a plastic bag with goodies.
It was filled with scenery to be used in my
pirategame and also in my medieval setup.
The price was only 5 Euros for all that is on
the pictures and it was a bargain if you ask me.
The medieval scenery will be converted to fit
with my GW-fantasy gates and the wagons and
catapults will also be a nice addition.
The more primitive scenery will fit like a glove
when I will build my head-hunter-village to
the coming game Las Piratas.
Great fun indeed.

Pirateship for plunder

This report is kind of old but never written about before.I bought
this pirate-ship for only 3 Euros at a second hand shop when I was
living in the woods 2012 and I found it again when I opened a card-
boardbox in our cellar last week. 
This pirate-ship will also be updated with a rear section with a 
steering-wheel and a closed compartment with windows. 
The ship will be fitted with cannons and a observationpost in the mast.
The ship is a slowgoing vessel but looks menacing enough and with
the cannons mounted I wouldn´t be happy if I was townfolk or a
peaceful fisherman. I intend to use it as a landingcraft and
a cargoship for plunder. This ship will stay in the rear when
the heavier pirate-ship will make way with all their firepower.

War-galleon and fleet-building

Before moving I bought this Playmobil-ship at
the local second hand-market before for
only 4 Euros and it will be great to convert to
a mighty War-galleon in the scale 28mm.
I will add a rear-cabin and also make room for 
cannon-hatchets and deck-cannons.
With some paint this rig will look real good.
Maybe add some more sails but I have not 
decided yet.
In my fleet I have this ship but also 4 more medium-
size boats(yellow) and a fast pirate-rig and some
small landing crafts. Not pictured is my 
"potato-ship" that will look very menacing as a
big landing-craft. Still some work to do though! :)
I also publish some picture on my future
lab/man-cave. Still there are some work to be done
before I can start making some projects here.

Creatures of the sea

I am living a very hectic life for the moment but I trying to
make some time for my hobby.Last week I found some
real nice details to add to my scenery when I am playing
Pirate-skirmish.Eventhough the fishes are a bit out of
scale and childish I think it will add some more positive
feeling to the gaming table.
My favourites are the squids and the crab and I am also
planning to make rules for these as predators.
I also found some more cars that can be converted and
used i Fallout skirmish. The red car will be splendid with
some chains and rust. I prefer to convert plastic cars because
the are easy to glue and drill holes into.
Last but not least I also found some wings to use to
"creatures of the night". They will look very nice when mounted
and with some paint.
