Vacation and finds

During my summervacation I made some finds but I also managed
to make som CAD to build our outdoor-room. 
My first find was two very interessting books. One about the cold
war and the present political situation in russia but also a book about
russian artillery on the eastern front during ww2.
Both books will be read during the swedish windy rain-period. :)
Next up is my find of more characters to Star wars-skirmish.
Six very nicely prepainted figures. I am really looking forward
starting to play tabletop-games with my star wars-figure-collection.
To my other game, Warhammer 40 000 and Necromunda I ordered
some very usable bits.
Especially three plasmaguns will be fitted to a Imperial guard special
weapon-squad to be able to fire on vehicles and tanks.
I also made a template to build 6 hexagon-shaped bunkers with
removable roofs. 
On the two last pictures you can see drawings and CAD made by
me for the outdoor-room.
Now most of this outdoor construction is built and on sunday
I will mount the final parts and the roof made of corrugated plastic

More Star wars-figures

When I celebrated my birthday last week one of my
friends from the gamig-scene (Peter S) sent me a 
very nice gift. The package arrived just in time and
made my day. It contained both some special characters
and members from the darkside.
I especially liked the Darth Vader-figure and think this
will be a nice addition to my now almost complete
collection. Next step is to paint these figures and make
both some terrain and some small space-ships.
A nice setup would be to make a "space-hulk-scenery"
with modular walls, archways, doors ets to play 
tabletop-pulp-games with missions and several players.

Star wars - The dark side

This is the last report about my collection of Star wars
figures. The miniatures that will represent the Empire or
the "dark side" looks very nice. The only figure that must
be corrected is the stormtrooper-squadleader that has a
elevation(bending forward) that is not natural.
The rest of the figures are spot on and I get a lot of in-
spiration just looking at the now.
The commander, the driver of the speeder-bike and radio-
operators(stormtroopers) are favourites from this range.

Star wars - rebelscum

This is the third report out of four to cover my latest find
in Star-wars-figures. These rebels are great and has a lot
of character and in my opinon is spot on to cover the Star-
wars feeling. Xenomorphs and a lot of vivid colours. :)
My favourite is the primitive-looking character with a stick
and the green-guards from the castle of Jabba the hut.
I also think that Chewbacca is a very nice mini.

Star wars-figures with sabers

This is the second report about my collection
of small Star wars-figures.
These figures are in my opinion very nicely
painted with a lot of character for gaming.
My favourites are Han Solo, Dart Maul and
of course the two figures in red,black and
yellow outfits. Next step will be to read more
about which fraction each are belonging to 
and some more facts before starting to play
skirmish-games or RPG.

Star wars minis-ready for gaming

Last week I bought another find on a second hand-market.
The the total number of figures on sale were 50 for
only 15 Euros.The figures are prepainted and in the
28mm scale and ready for gaming.
The manufacturer is mainly Wizkids (round bases). 
I bought some figures in 2014 but they were to few to
start gaming but now I only need some speceships and
scenery to start this dream of mine.
I have not decided yet if I will play RPG or skirmish.
On the two last pictures (bought 2018) I have assembled
both my earlier buy and my new find. Next report will 
cover close up pictures of both the Empire-figures and
the rebels. 

My first set of Star wars-figures

When I went to the local super-market with my wife 
to purchase the necessities of life I also found out that
they had sale on Star wars-figures.
The price was 50% off and they sold a lot from the racks.
I dont have a gamesystem yet but I will try to find it,
otherwise I will make some simple rules of my own.
The figures are made by Hasbro and in the scale of
1:32 and the details are quite nice.
I have bought both imperial-forces and rebels together
with the icons (Luke, Han and Chewie etc).
The space-ships that also comes together with the
big-packs is just waste because they are not
usable for my kind of games.
One positive aspect is that the scale offer great oppor-
tunities to make scratchbuilt star-ships and other scenery.
In the winter I am also planing to build some kind of
space-station with corridors and landing-bays for
skirmish. May the force be with me! :)
