PT-3 Soviet mineroller

Finally I have now 3d-printed my own

CAD-crafted PT-3, soviet mineroller.

I choose resin to make all the details

"pop out" and the result is really good

and fits like a hand in the glove with my

T-34-tanks in the 15mm-scale.

I ordered 6 of these from the swedish-based

3d-printservice Mad about 3d/ADM and I

must say I got excellent service and all of

the models were thoroughly placed in a

sheltered package.

The "plan" are that the minerollers will be able

to push through
the german mine-fields in the

game Flames ofwar.

I can´t wait to paint these!!!

Below you also can read about my 3d-work

in CAD.

Rendered my own Hobby-rack

Next furniture/item I have chosen to 3d-render is my

very much used Hobby-rack that I made myself

when I studied carpentry and furniture-making back

in 1996. I draw the drawings originally by hand and

on paper but converted into CAD and digital many

years later. The material is mainly birch but also

cherry, beech, oak and pear-tree.

If you want to build this rack yourself all the measure-

ments and drawings are on this page:

My first handmade building - rendered

Last year I made my first building drawing i CAD

and finally 3d-printed the finished STL-file.

The result was very satisfying and made in filament.

I haven´t painted the model yet but I decided to

experiment with colors and render to see what if.

I must say the model looks good and almost if it

is taken from the real world.

On the link below you also can read about this

model in the making and come alive:

The last picture show the housemodel fresh from the

3D-printer.

My own furniture - rendered

Working with carpentry and able to make my

own furniture I decided to 3d-render my

CAD-files to see how they would look.

First up is my foot-stool I made 2003.

The wood is MDF with Maple-veneer.

The cushion is IKEA and ox-leather and the

metal-handle is from a kitchen-range I can´t

remember the name of the manufacturer.

The last picture show the real foot-stool.
