Happy New Year 2022 and 2021 in retrospective

First of all I will send out a BIG thankyou

to all you readers of this blog and giving me

support in my hobby. Very nice and always nice

to read your comments.

The year 2021 has been a very hectic one and

also filled with pandemic and a different way of

life. This year me and my growing family decided

to sell our house and also build a new one.

The time was right and we made a good deal selling

our old house and also a good deal building and

signing a contract before all the prices went up

because of the pandemic. During the in-between-

time we all moved to a small vacation-house in

the woods and during this time I didn´t make any

hobby-projects but I bought some more models and

figures...:)

Next year will be much easier with no big projects

and I also pray that I and my family will not get sick.

The pictures show some of my buys(both 6mm and 15mm) and

my 3d-printing-projects that will also continue next year

with more home-drawn models.

Happy New Year 2022 and stay safe!

Cheers / Peter

Flames of war-15mm-soviets support and PBI

My third report about my 15mm-finds

this summer will be about my soviets.

A heavy version of the T-34 with extra

armour looks quite nice and will be an

eye-cather on the gaming table.

Fast light-tanks will be quite useful in a

lot of scenarios. Two support vehicles to

recover damaged tanks will also bring the

right feeling. These recover-vehicles are

both to be used as lend-lease from the US.

The infantry will be painted and used as

storm-troops(streetfighting), Spetznaz and

Sappers/combat-engineers.

Finally but not least are the 3 tracked british

transports that were delivered as lend-lease.

I will mainly use these universal carriers to

move around my heavy mortars that are very

"deadly" on the gaming-table.

All the models and miniatures will be used in the

game Flames of war version 3

Very nice finds indeed!

Flames of war-15mm-german extras

This is my second report on my german finds this

summer.I bought also some transport, armoured-

cars and artillery but also some infantry.

Very nice finds indeed and some of these models

brings back memories from my childhood.

Especially the 6-wheeled Sdkfz 231 that I

built as a Matchbox-model in the scale 1:72.

This model was also fitted with a large antenna

and I will probably scratchbuild one myself to

make it even more "recon". :)

Flames of war - 15mm-Germans Heavy metal

This summer I spent "lurking" in the woods

waiting for our new house to be built.

During this time I bought some more germans

to play the game Flames of war version 3.

The price was very good and all was new.

I paid 30-60% cheaper than the original

prices so this bargain I couldn´t resist even-

though my collection is quite big already! :)

I bought 3 Jagdpanthers and this is my favourite

german WW2-tank. I really like the look of this

tank and it delivers a very good punch to!

Next up is two sets of partisans and german

military-police and these products are more and

more rare to find onsale.

I also bought 4 Sdkfz250-halftracks and these

are also one of my favourite-vehicles.

Finally but not least I bought 3 Pzkfw IV with

short cannons. I will play mainly late war and

I will draw and 3d-print two versions of not so

common AA-turrets to refit these tanks myself.
