3D-printed trucks - report

This is my second report about my first test-3D print in

the material resin. Overall the models looks fine and the

scale looks right. Most of the big trucks are downloaded

from the free-page Thinginverse and drawn in CAD and

the scale 1/200 and needed to be scaled up to 1/100.

My friend Adam (the printer) made an excellent job in

making the outcome right eventhough he had big problems

getting the wheels right on especially the GMC-trucks.

The details on these big trucks looks really good and for

me resin is the choice comparing to pla-thread.

The smaller models are also scaled and this was even

harder to do but I calculated out the right length and

width to guide Adam and the outcome of these were even

better than the big trucks.

Very nice result but the downside for me was to cut loose

the models from the mould-extras and all the wheels of

the BM-21-rocket-trucks were broken doíng so.

Some of the big trucks also cracked in the middle because

they were to thin to uphold the weight(drawn in a smaller scale).

The big trucks are no problem to fix but the smaller ones

are more tricky but I will manage this also.

Adam also kindly send me the failed prints and these will

be very nice "broken-down" models and parts of the

scenery playing the WW2-game Flames of war.

These are the models I have chosen to print:

Scale 1/100 (15mm)

STZ-5-closed-1

On the last pictures you can see that I have completed

my MLRS that I got for free but the tracked part were

missing and these looks very good and fits perfectly

together.

Next project will be to print my homemade

light cannons in the scale 1/100. A report is on

its way, Cheers and thankyou for reading my blog!:)

Very nice Sopwith camel F.1 from Cobi

This is my second report about my Cobi-finds.
When I bought my triplane I also purchased
a english model named Sopwith camel F.1.
A very nice model that I fell in love with
instantly. Nice details and the colours are
also childish but nice.
Placing the two models side by side is a
very nice view and I also hope that my son
will like these when he will grow. :)

Very nice Cobi-Fokker

Just before the start of my vacation I
was out for a quick buy and I stumbled over
a sale I couldn´t resist.
This Fokker from Cobi only cost me 5 Euros
and original cost was 20 Euros!!!
When I was a small boy I was very impressed
by a Fokker in the scale 1/100 and eversince
I have wanted one of these myself.
I really like this model eventhough it is a toy.
And when my youngest will grow older I will
give this aeroplane as a gift to him.
The model is very nice and I like both the look
and details very much.

Bloodreavers en masse

Last week I bought some more figures both
for fantasy but also to use in Necromunda.
These muscle-men are bloodreavers from
Games workshop. For only 10 Euros a got
18 battleready figures.
I think these figures looks real tough and
mean and will fit in any bad-land-scenario.
They come from a easy-to-build-range and
this is not so good when it comes to make
any kind of conversion but I manage.
Next step will be to put on some paint.

More skeleton-cavalry

Just before Christmas I answered a seller that
wanted to sell 3 quadrigas,7 horses and 6 riders.
All were skeletons and to be used as Tomb kings.
For only 14 Euros I think this will be a nice
addition and complement my old collection.
I play Vampire-counts in WHFB and they will
look real good when painted.
The quadrigas will be mobile plattforms for
my VC-leaders and special-characters.
Very nice finds indeed.
