Now I have completed the basing of three
norman riders out of nine.I like the grass
and I think they look both wild and threat-
ening this way. I have also put on some
sand and PVA. I gathered both my foot-
soldiers and the updated archers for some
grouppictures. I hope that you find them
inspirational.
Great job and great photos!
SvaraRaderaGrazie mile Luca. :) The photos looks real good.I was also playing with the thought of making a photo-montage also using an authentic background scenery.Maybe I shall do an update!?
Raderayes, please, it could be very interesting!
RaderaThat cavalry looks fantastic! Great work!
SvaraRaderaGreetings
Peter
Thankyou very much Peter. I like my riders and on the gaming table they make the battleground dynamic.
RaderaFine work
SvaraRaderaStort tack. :) Thankyou for making this comment.
RaderaNeat.
SvaraRaderaBut... You should use flock on more places on the bases. Dont be afraid to use real grass, dryed up leafs, sticks and so.
I like to glue sand on my bases and later use watered down paint to paint it.
Tackar och bugar Jonas. :) I will start collecting a box of woodland rubble and make som tests.Thankyou for the tips.
RaderaGreat looking minis and beautiful photos!
SvaraRaderaMerci beaucoup mon ami.I hope you got some inspiration too!?
RaderaThat's an interesting effect that gives them the impression of charging through crops or tall grass - wonderfully dynamic. It might be a bit much on the infantry perhaps?
SvaraRaderaThankyou very much Michael. I will probably trim the grass on the infantry because it looks a little bit too much.
RaderaGood modeling and original look.
SvaraRaderaThankyou very much Jay. It was also great fun to build.
RaderaCool! I would add some flock and tufts to the bases to give undergrowth as well as the tall grass. It also hides the square profile of the integral base.
SvaraRaderaI like how they fit into the terrain in the mass pictures.
Tackar och bugar.I also thankyou for the tips. The pictures looks nice and it gave me a lot of more inspiration just to look at them once again.
