Servitor-arm-conversions

When playing Warhammer 40 000 I have planned
to upgrade my machinery-support and to be able to
keep the wheels running during table-top-battles I
need engineer-service close at hand.
In my collection I now have 3 Leman Russ(main-battle-
tanks), 2 Chimeras (APC), 2 Hellhounds(light support-
tanks) and finally 1 Basilisk(tracked artillery).
The 3 Leman Russ-tanks are currently all in renovation-
process and will be fitted with magnets to be able to switch
armoury.
Back to the engineer-service I have converted 6 figures to
be a complete Engiseer/tech-priest-squad.
The squad is now containing two Engiseers/techpriests
(read clothing), and two engineer-servitors(drones) to assist
in construction or maintenance.
Two battle/gun-servitors to protect the rest of the squad when
working on the battle-field. These two "protector" are cyborgs
that have donated limbs to be able to be fitted with advanced
weapon-systems. I have equiped these two chaps with
heavy bolters. :)
The engiseers and the engineer-servitors are equiped with a
whole arsenal of tools and machinery and the servitor-arms
are scratch-built from blisters, plastic tooth-pics and crosses
used for distance when building kitchen/lavatory-tiles.
I like the look of these figures and they will be very useful on
the gaming-table.Next up is to paint these in IG-colours.

NATO reinforcements

Only sad news about the spreading of the epidemic
but I managed to buy and get my nice package of
6mm-miniatures from the United kingdom before the
closing of the borders.
My last buy was a LOT of miniatures in the scale of
1/285 but I was missing air-support for my Nato-force
and was delighted when my friend Michael offered to
sell me some 6mm-miniatures on second hand.
I will make the tracked vehicles that is missing to the
MLRS in CAD and print them in 3D in the future.
The setting of my 6mm-cold war-game will either be in
the archipelago of Stockholm, the city-center of my home-
town Malmoe, the countryside in the county of smaland or
central Europe. I will make a full report of these scenery-
builds later on. I also must apologize that I haven´t been so
active on my blog but I have a lot on my mind with my
family, work, the virus.
Thankyou all for your support!

Engiseers/Techpriests-conversion

A new year with my blog and also a new year
with a new employment and as a father of three
small children. All together this affect my free-
time and my hobby. I feel that I have a lot on
my mind but not the time. This is probably very
common but this also affect my fellow readers of
my blog outthere. I start this first report of 2020
with a big thankyou to all my readers and you mean
a lot to me!!!

My first report this year will be about how to
convert two spacemarines to engiseers/techpriests.
These engiseers will be able to repair armour and
other vehicles on the gaming table/battlefield and
has been wanted for a long time.
I think I managed to get a very industrial look on
these two figures but I will probably add two
scratchbuilt servoarms also before I will feel that
these are finished and ready for some paintjob.
I also read that these engiseers operate with two
other figures for extra support.
These extras are called servitors and one is fitted
with a light version of the engiseers-equipment and
the other with a heavy support weapon.
I will also convert and build two servitors and the
weapon of choice will be a heavy bolter for close
support.
The engiseers are all built with bits bought second
hand and the figures were both donated for free
to me from my friend Daniel. Thankyou again!!!

Happy New Year-retrospective 2019

Another year has passed and I have done a lot
but not so much hobby-projects as I wanted.
Eventhough my time is very limited I have
managed to make some time of my own and
I am real proud of this.
I now have completed my collection of 15mm-
figures to Flames of war and i now have german,
russian and japanese-forces to play with.
I have also made enough gamemarkers and
also templates to start play this fun but complex
game(I will start with version 3 of FoW).
Next up is that I have added som more muscle
to my Imperial guards (Warhammer 40 000).
I got tired of being hit very hard by my counter-
players before I even came near to hit back...
Now I have artillery, mortars, autocannons,laser-
cannons, zykers, plasmagunners, meltagunners
and finally more cover(APC).
I have also bought a huge collection of cold war-
figures and models in the 6mm-scale.
It has been a dream of mine for many years to build
up and play wargames in a swedish cold war-scenery.
This cold war-project will take quite some time but
I am really looking forward starting to do this!
I have also built some rocky-scenery,lakes and bought
some very useful modular rivers.
I have not played Necromunda ash wastes this year but
I have bought a lot of nice bits and figures and this
will probably start up in 2020.
My "mancave" is now almost finished and up and
running and my painting studio is also good to go.
Last but not least I will send out a big thankyou to all
my readers and fellow bloggers. Times are not so good
in Sweden right now with growing crime and a very
rocky economy ahead together with big problems in
the public sector. This is a big worry for all of us and to
have a hobby is very good thing these days.
Eventhough these facts I must think positive and I want
to send out a big Happy New year 2020 to you all!
