6mm-Soviet aircrafts and more helicopters

In my ongoing report about my big collection
of 6mm models and figures
I now turn to the soviet aircraft and helicopter-range
First up is a very useful range of aircrafts:

Su-19 (NATO-name: fencer)
Attack and bomberplane
23mm or 30mm autocannon. Rockets and missiles

Su-7 (NATO-name: fitter)
Fighterplane
2x 30mm autocannon. Rockets,missiles,bombs

Mig-19 (NATO-name: farmer)
Fighterplane
3x 30mm autocannon. Rockets,bombs

Mig-21 (NATO-name: fishbed)
Fighterplane
23mm or 30mm autocannon. Rockets and missiles

Su-24 (NATO-name: fencer)
Attack and bomberplane

23mm or 30mm autocannon. Rockets and missiles

Mig-25 (NATO-name: foxbat)
Fighterplane
Radar. Missiles

Mig 27 (NATO-name: flogger)
Attack and bomberplane
23mm or 30mm autocannon. Rockets and missiles
Nuclear bombs!

To the new 6mm-models above I also add two more Mig-21,
one Mig-19 and Su-7 and
together this will be a massive striking force when combined!

Next up is my helicopter collection.
The big Mil Mi-6 (NATO-name: hook) can carry 14 tonnes or
5 crew and 61 soldiers and will be very useful when making an
air-invasion.
Another transport is the Mil Mi-8 (NATO-name: hip) that can
carry 6 tonnes or 3 crew and 24 soldiers.
A impressing sight is the 6 Mil Mi-24 attack-
helicopters(NATO-name: hind).
To these 6 I can also add another two from my "old collection".
These "death from above-machines" are my favourites equiped
with one 12.7mm HMG and rockets/missiles.These Mil-24 can
also carry 3 crew and a figthing squads with 8 soldiers.
A combined helicopter-force with all these models can airlift a
big threat to any and will be fun to use when it comes to
wargaming.

    1. Indeed Michael and I am really, really looking forward painting these and start playing cold war scenarios. At first I thought 6mm /1:285-scale was to small but I take it back and I can really see the advantages of making a diverse gaming-board with lots of interesting details.Thankyou very much Michael

  2. That's quite an air-force, the size being necessary to support your vast ground-forces I guess. I don't envy you having to paint all these !
